Streamlined outsole minimizes bulk
The Frog Skateboards x Vans Skate Slip-On is a cheeky collaboration between the fun-loving skate brand and Vans on the classic slip-on skate shoe. Perhaps best known for its use of cheeky graphics and for its popular Nike SB Blazer colorway from March 2019, Frog Skateboards is one of the more chilled-out skate collectives in the sport today. Design wise, the crew opts to dress the Skate Slip-Ons canvas upper in a multi-color checkerboard pattern. Whimsical graphics appear at random inside of the checkerboard design. Green foxing breaks up the look around the white vulcanized rubber midsole. A co-branded Frog Skateboards and Vans red rubber license plate appears on the heel of the midsole. A magenta waffle outsole completes the look. The Frog Skateboards x Vans Skate Slip-On was released alongside an Old Skool LTD on February 18, 2021.
